ArtLens respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect or more accurately, what we do NOT collect, how we handle your photos, and why ArtLens can be used completely anonymously.
All information is processed locally, information is only retained on the local user's device, and when the user actively deletes the information, the information will be deleted, so the app does not collect any facial data.
ArtLens does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID. You can download and start using the app immediately and anonymously. ArtLens collects zero personal data. We do not ask for, receive, or store:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Location data
- Apple ID or any other identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports we have deliberately disabled all analytics and tracking services

- All photo filtering is performed entirely on your own iPhone or iPad using Apple’s Core Image framework.
- Your photos never leave your device.
- We do not upload your images to any server or cloud service.
- We do not store, transmit, share, or back up your photos in-app photos in any way.
- When you close the app or delete a project, all temporary image data is immediately removed from memory.
The app will ask for permission to access your photo library to choose existing photos. This permission is used exclusively on your device to load the selected photo into the filter editor. No photos are ever sent anywhere else.
Because ArtLens collects no data whatsoever, it fully complies with COPPA and all other children’s privacy regulations. Children 13 years of age and older may safely use the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since we collect no personal information, we have no way to notify users directly, so we encourage you to review this page periodically.
